Back to the nest for toddlers at the media library

About fifteen toddlers, their nannies, and parents attended the media library’s show, Allez, au Nid!, by Barbara Christol and Kirsten Debrock of the KD Danse Company. For the young audience, the actresses gently performed bedtime rituals, playing with shadow puppets or accompanying themselves with dances. Under a shower of feathers, the little ones were swept into an ocean of well-being, giving way to night and dreams. Jo Witek, co-author with Christine Roussey of the album Allez, au Nid!, traveled to the venue for this show. Delighted by the artists’ artistic performance, she confided: “I found this little boy with blue hair who goes through all the essential stages of bedtime, with the azure blue knitting that caps the scene of the show!” In the afternoon, another performance of the show from the “Voyelles” tour of the Pierresvives Departmental Media Library was performed in front of the children from the daycare and other toddlers.
