Initiator of the Les Contes de l’innovation© event, innovation strategy specialist Myriagone Conseil has launched its eponymous podcast. Each month, its consultants offer their microphones to entrepreneurs and researchers for an offbeat sharing of experiences, confidences in the form of a story that invites listeners to dream and, in turn, innovate.

Myriagone Conseil (Montpellier) has taken the gamble of combining storytelling, a popular literary genre, with a growing form of communication: the podcast. In each episode of Tales of Innovation©, an inspiring personality—a business leader, consultant, or researcher—recounts their life poetically for about fifteen minutes, guided by Aline Roche-Noury, Myriagone Conseil’s communications and development manager, who is in charge of hosting the podcast. “The health crisis has encouraged us to reinvent ourselves,” explains Aline. “This new format allows us to go further than the event we’ve been organizing every year since 2015 in Occitanie. Anyone can now, during a short car ride or a lunch break, discover the unique journeys of innovation professionals in France, travel to imaginary countries, experience the power of creativity, and draw inspiration from good entrepreneurial practices.” » Produced by Bastien Nicolai of Studiopodcast, in charge of recording and sound design, this podcast is available on all platforms, including Spotify.

Tales of Innovation©: four episodes already available

Asking new questions about your company and your journey, transforming the ups and downs of your entrepreneurial project into a real adventure, seeking and finding inspiration, discussing creativity with strangers and reconnecting with long-lost friends, sharing stories with your children… The guests on the Myriagone Conseil podcast are already drawing the first positive lessons from this unusual experience of transforming a personal story into a universal tale.

Myriagone Conseil called on painter and illustrator Barbara Christol, who lives and works in Nîmes, to illustrate its Tales of Innovation ©. “Using the traditional technique of Indian ink to illustrate an innovative idea through storytelling piqued my interest,” says Barbara. “There’s a lot of creativity, exchange of knowledge, and a touch of poetry in all these stories, and I see many similarities with my own artistic creation.” Initially used on Myriagone Conseil’s social media, these dreamlike illustrations are also intended for a future printed edition of the tales.
