For this first update of the year, Barbara Christol is delighted to invite you to discover her new website!
This new, more vibrant interface presents the main themes of her work and provides direct access to Barbara Christol’s online works, tracing the major events that punctuate her artistic life.
This new beginning also provides an opportunity to summarize 2022 in three key moments, as it is from the seeds sown previously that future projects will sprout:
The artistic year opened with the Art Capital 2022 exhibition at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris, where Barbara Christol exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français. Her work “Utopia” (from the Sienna series) was selected by the Painting Jury.
The Salon d’Automne at La Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris closed the year.
The work “Cosmogonie” (from the Universe series) was selected in the Abstraction category.
Thank you to the members of the juries of these two wonderful fairs, where Barbara Christol exhibited for the first time: rich encounters, exchanges with established artists, and a large audience.
A big thank you also to the Selection Committee of the Taylor Foundation, a distinguished institution supporting artistic creation and the development of knowledge of the arts, for accepting Barbara Christol as a new member in 2022.
